Amy designs and delivers art history and curatorial courses, public talks, workshops, and facilitated conversations for universities, cultural organizations, and corporate settings.

Amy’s teaching and facilitation use close looking as a starting point for deeper inquiry into art and history, institutions and identity, social context and civic life. Drawing on more than a decade of teaching experience and a master’s degree in education, she creates learning environments that are rigorous, generous, participatory, and responsive to context.

Recent taught courses include: Modernisms: 1860-1960 (MICA / Undergraduate); A “Herstory” of Art (Oxford / Lifelong Learning); A History of Museums (Oxford / Lifelong Learning); Curatorial Histories, and Developing Practices and Audiences (University of the West of England / Masters).
